Carissa finished college and moved into an apartment in the city. She was doing a lot of gigs in the downtown and wanted to be close to the hustle and bustle of the city.
“I brought you a little housewarming gift,” Dale handed her a box.
“Thanks dad, sit down.”

“That’s a really nice place, honey,” Dale took a seat on one of the three gray couches, “mom will stop by tomorrow. She has the party tonight.”

The fourth and last season of the show Becca was starring in was finally finished and the whole crew celebrated the end of a four years long shooting. For Becca it meant she will finally take a well deserved time off and she and her family will spend a year in her home town with her family.

Her parents are coming in two days to celebrate the kids birthdays and help them pack.
“Hi dad,” Becca hugged her father, “did you have a good flight?”

“Mom, how are you?” she asked her mother and hugged her too,”Caitlin can’t stop talking about coming to live ‘where grandma lives’.”
“She’s so sweet. We can’t wait to have you all close sweetheart.”
“I know, we are pretty excited too.”

“Dale, nice to see you again.”
“You too, Adam. How is everything?”
“Oh you know, getting old sucks, but other than that, things are good.”
“That’s good to hear. Come sit down, you must be starving. There’s ton of food ready for the party tomorrow but feel free to have whatever you like.” Dale was talking to both Adam and Adeline.

Cameron celebrated his fifteenth birthday and grew into a handsome young man.

Caitlin turned six and couldn’t wait to start first grade in Kensington. She was probably the most excited of all of them. In fact, Cameron didn’t want to move at all. All his friends were here and going to school with total strangers was every teenager’s worst nightmare.

“Grandma, can we go to where you live now?”
“Not yet, sweetie,” Adeline chuckled,”but you only have to sleep two more times and then we go.”

“Grandpa!” Caitlin ran over to Adam,” grandma said I only have to sleep two more times and then we move.”
“That’s right, honey. I will show you all the places where your mom used to play when she was just a little girl like you.”

“Are you coming with us, Carie?”
“I can’t,” Carissa said and tried to change the subject,”I have a lot of gigs I have to do here. And then hopefully one day, you can come to my concert. Wouldn’t that be fun?”
“Can I be in the front?”
“Of course you can. Maybe you can even be on the stage with me for a little bit,” Carissa winked at her little sister.

“I still have a feeling we are forgetting something.” Becca said worriedly.
“We didn’t, love.” Dale assured her stuffing his mouth with waffles, “you’re just nervous.”
“Well, why aren’t you?”
“Because we checked everything at least three times.”
“I feel bad leaving Carissa in the city all alone.”
“Oh please, she didn’t need us since she turned fifteen. She’s practically been on her own when she left for a boarding school. She’s an independent woman, just like you, you should be proud of her.”
“You’re right,” Becca finished her breakfast and stood up, “I’m going to wake up the kids and my parents. We have to be at the airport in two hours.”

A/N: As much as I love all characters from the beginning of my story, I recommend you start with generation four here since I didn’t have enough photos and experience with writing when I started this story. I plan on updating these chapters eventually 🙂
