Chapter 3.04, Generation 3

Chapter 3.04

A/N: This chapter contains adult content.

“Hi, honey, are you home? I think I need your help.”

Carissa came over as soon as the call ended. They didn’t see much of each other lately since Dale and Kirsten were busy with running their restaurant and she was booked almost every weekend for gigs. She wasn’t the superstar she always wanted to be but she was well known singer in Sierra and surrounding towns. Maybe one day. All she needs is one hit.

“Thank you for coming, how are you?” Dale hugged his daughter.

“Busy, you know. What’s going on here? He’s getting married now?”

“Oh God, I hope not. Can you talk to him? You’re pretty much the only person he won’t yell at.”

Kirsten walked over and talked to Carissa for a little while. She was only seven years older so the two girls became quite close friends.

“He just finished breakfast, you wanna chat with him? I’ll go make some coffee. Maybe we can all sit down and discuss things like adults for once.”

“Hey bro,” Carissa started friendly, “so…wedding, huh? You sure you’re ready for that?”

“Yeah, why not,” Cameron said with a lack of interest.

“I don’t know. You and Julie..I know you guys hook up with other people, I mean, do you even love her?”

“Love is overrated.” he said and walked away, shutting the door of his bedroom behind him.

Dale was carefully listening from the dining room. He was hoping for a better result than this.

“Well, that’s that.” Kirsten summed it up and they finished their coffee in silence. What are they going to do..

Turns out there was no talking him out of it. His mind was made up and he wanted to marry Julie. They said their I dos two months after Cameron’s eighteenth birthday in the same venue where his parents got married all those years ago.

Cameron bought a small condo in the same building his mother Becca had an apartment when she first moved to Sierra. They moved in together and life was good for a while.

Eating in the best restaurants in the city.

Partying with friends. Living their best life.

Relaxing on private beaches whenever they wanted.

Still enjoying the company of other people in the bedroom with one small change. They agreed after they got married that they would only do it together. No more hooking up with others on their own.

Their life was a vacation. They didn’t have to worry about money or anything else but it seemed like there was still something missing. Neither one of them would admit it but they both felt it.

A/N: As much as I love all characters from the beginning of my story, I recommend you start with generation four here since I didn’t have enough photos and experience with writing when I started this story. I plan on updating these chapters eventually 🙂
